Selecting the right height setting
Follow these simple steps to select the right height setting.
Place the scarifier on your lawn
This should be done after you have mowed the lawn to 4cm.
Move the scarifier a short distance back and forth
Ensure the motor is running. Do this slowly not to damage the lawn.
Check to see if the blades just touch the ground
Being mindful to do this with the motor running.
Raise if deep tracks or lower if no tracks
To ensure the perfect height setting for scarifying or aerating.

Cut the correct distance – prune just above (1.5cm) the branch collar to avoid damaging the trunk.

Always start by removing damaged, dead, diseased shoots followed by branches that are weak, rubbing, growing inwards or crossing over each other.
